Healthcare

Healthcare systems must support care at the point of work, protect sensitive information and exchange meaning without creating a second version of the patient.

The operating context

Clinical and operational workflows cross registration, consultation, laboratory, pharmacy, billing, referral and public-health reporting. A reliable system preserves patient and order identity across those boundaries, represents clinical state explicitly and keeps the source and time of every result. Availability matters, but so do correctness, confidentiality and a safe degraded mode when a facility loses connectivity.

Wavelink designs around the work performed by clinicians, records teams, laboratory staff, pharmacists and programme operators. Interoperability uses versioned contracts and established healthcare resource patterns where they fit the source systems. Offline capture is bounded: users can see what is cached, conflicts are surfaced, and synchronisation does not silently overwrite a newer clinical record.
